I have been away for most of July, just hanging out in New Jersey visiting friends and family. However it was not purely social (although it was mostly social), I also gave Paul Howells a copy of ‘Initiation’. Paul is in the progressive punk band Free Yon and is also something of a musical genius, he graciously consented to write the score of ‘Initiation’.

I finished editing ‘Initiation’ back in June. It took longer then I had expected because of something horrible that happened to my computer. I am very happy with the final cut. All that’s left to do is score it (Paul’s got that covered) add some gun related effects and add the credits.

I thought ‘Initiation’ would be my one big project for the summer, however I am thinking that I will do another film later in August.

While I was in New Jersey I also began working on several projects (not film related) that are so awesome they will blow your shoes, socks, pants and quite possibly shirt away (so bring a change of clothes). However at this point in time they are very, very hush-hush. I will be revealing more about these projects as they begin to materialize.

That’s basically what I’ve been up to in a nut shell. Sorry for the lack of posts, but you know you wouldn’t have read them even if I had written them.

I’ve been very busy lately, however for about the last six months I’ve been trying to fix the ‘movies’ section of my website good news is: I am making some progress.
I am still very busy shooting music videos, working on a short film and writing tons of scripts. When I find a free moment I will try and edit together some of my more recent work (Stuff I shot this year), and post it online for all to enjoy.

Anyway as far as Other Mysteries go, about a month ago I posted a pretty elaborate and special effects heavy video of unknown origin. Sorry for not posting sooner, but the origins of the above mentioned video have been revealed to the world.
/film has the scoop, turns out the popular theory that it was just some very, very smart people playing around with a video camera and some software is correct.

You may notice that my blog is no longer what it once was, I have removed most of the irrelevant posts in favor of content that some people may actually want to read. (Bold and italics for an extra dose of emphasis). Don’t worry I’ve kept all my hard written posts on my server in hopes that some day I will have a use for them, not sure when though.

You also may have noticed that the main page of the website has under gone a big redesign, the old design was tired and worn, so I reworked it, in essence the layout is still the same but it’s sleeker, less clunky and some other words that people only use to describe cars.

As of right now, 6:55 on October third, I have not give the blog the full redesign it deserves, however trust me that is coming SOOON. I like the way it is now even less then you do! So check back over the coming days and weeks for a nicer cleaner template with hopefully lots of fun plugins.
